Preaching from Jonah chapter 1, Mr Stephen Buchanan explores the choice we all face when confronted with our sin: to hide and run, like Jonah, or to admit failure and turn towards God's grace. Looking at the 'pathetic prophet', the 'smart sailors' and the 'gracious God' at the centre of the story, he challenges listeners to consider who they avoid or judge, and points to Jesus as the true and better Jonah who was thrown into the storm of God's wrath to bring us safely home.
