Drawing on biblical examples such as Gideon, David and the early church, alongside stories from Wurmbrand, Bonhoeffer, Corrie ten Boom and the growth of the Chinese church, Rev Speers argues that ideas rooted in God's truth, spirit over flesh, and good over evil are the real markers of transformation. The sermon closes with an invitation to surrender fully to the Spirit's power at work in ordinary, vulnerable lives.
