Morning Sermon - 30th August 2026 - Waiting on God when the wicked prosper

This morning's sermon is delivered by Rev. George Speers.

Preaching from Psalm 37:27-40, the Reverend George Speers asks how believers should respond when evil appears to triumph. Rev Speers draws out a twofold instruction — to wait patiently on the Lord and to keep walking in His way — alongside a twofold promise that God will exalt the faithful and let them witness the downfall of the wicked. Drawing on examples from Noah and Daniel to Joseph and the early church, along with quotations from Piper, Ferguson, Spurgeon and Sproul, this is a call to patient, wholehearted trust in God's timing and justice.
