Morning Sermon - 25th May 2025 - The Mega Mystery of Godliness

Preaching from 1 Timothy 3:14-16, Pastor Roy Hamilton unpacks Paul's great confession of the mystery of godliness — God manifest in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, and taken up to glory. Drawing on illustrations from everyday language, Psalm 24, and the hymn 'Who Is He in Yonder Stall', he presses home how incomprehensible and 'mega' it is that the eternal, triune God should take on human flesh in Christ and set His love on sinners. The sermon closes with a call to sense Christ's living presence among His people even now.
