Morning Sermon - 19th October 2025 - Thankful for Every Saint

This morning's Harvest service sermon is delivered by Rev Charles Collins.

Preaching from Ephesians 1 on a Harvest Thanksgiving Sunday, the Reverend Charles Collins explores what it means to be truly thankful — not only for the harvest of food, but for the 'harvest' of the saints, the whole gathered church. Drawing on Paul's example of giving thanks for all the believers at Ephesus, however imperfect or irritating they might be, Rev Collins traces the spiritual blessings God has poured out on every believer and shows how genuine faith and love for others are the marks of true conversion. He closes by unpacking Paul's prayer for the church: that believers would know God more deeply, grasp their hope of heaven, and experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
