Evening Sermon - Palm Sunday - 29th March 2026 - Remember Who You Are and Whose You Are

In this sermon on the opening verses of 1 Peter, Mr Philip Kelly explores what it means to be God's elect exiles living on the margins of society. Drawing on Peter's own paradoxical character as an example of God's grace towards imperfect people, Mr Kelly shows how believers today, like the scattered churches of Asia Minor, can find security and hope not in their circumstances but in belonging to God the Father, Son and Spirit. It's a message of encouragement for anyone who feels forgotten, marginalised or worthless: your status before God rests entirely on Christ's finished work, not on your own performance.
