In this study through Acts 11:1-18, the Reverend George Speers examines Peter's defence before the Jerusalem church after his visit to Cornelius's Gentile household. Rev Speers explores the Jewish believers' objections, the fourfold divine revelation that convinced Peter of God's plan, and the appropriate response of humble acceptance when God's grace crosses expected boundaries. Drawing on Calvin, Spurgeon, Chrysostom and Lloyd-Jones, he challenges listeners to examine where fear of change or personal prejudice might be hindering them from welcoming those God has already received.
