Evening Sermon - 27th July 2025 - Hypocrisy that Kills: Ananias and Sapphira

This evening's sermon is delivered by Mr Hazlett Lynch.

Preaching from Acts 5, Mr Hazlett Lynch confronts the danger of hypocrisy within the church, contrasting the generous, Spirit-filled community of the early Jerusalem church with the deadly deceit of Ananias and Sapphira. He warns that pretending to be wholly surrendered to Christ while holding back the heart is a serious sin that God sees and judges, and calls listeners to genuine repentance and surrender rather than religious pretence.
