Continuing a series on the kingdom of God, the minister turns to the twin parables of the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price in Matthew 13:44-46. Drawing on biblical examples of buried treasure and stories of people who stumbled upon or diligently sought the gospel, the sermon explores why the kingdom of God is worth giving up everything to gain, and why Christ himself, who purchased that kingdom at Calvary, is its greatest treasure.
