Evening Sermon - 11th May 2025 - The Final, Irreversible Separation of Judgment

In this evening sermon on Matthew 25:31-46, the Reverend George Speers continues a two-part study of the final judgement, focusing on Christ 'setting' the sheep and goats in their eternal destinies and 'saying' the words of welcome or condemnation. He explores why a public, universal judgement is necessary even though souls are already judged at death, and contrasts the humble astonishment of the righteous with the arrogant self-justification of the condemned. Rev Speers closes with a moving account of three imprisoned Indonesian Sunday school teachers and a call to behold, receive, feast upon, rest upon and flee to Christ for salvation.
