On Resurrection Sunday, Mr Philip Kelly walks through John 20, tracing the movements of Peter, John and Mary at the empty tomb to show that the resurrection is a real, historical event and not fake news. He draws out rich Old Testament connections — the garden of Eden, the Ark of the Covenant's mercy seat — to show how Christ's rising turns the tomb from a place of grief into a place of grace. The sermon closes with a call to recognise Jesus as Saviour and Lord, and to live as adopted children of God because He is risen indeed.
